Let's talk a little bit about inbound marketing. Inbound marketing is driving traffic to your site by using Blogging, Tweeting, Social Media, Press releases, Forum posts, Directories etc.
The thing about using all these platforms to market on is it takes time. When you take the time to do it of course it can lead to great results. I have 2 other Blogs beside this one, One twitter account, plus I use Twello to gain more followers, FaceBook, StumbleUpon, Press Releases, Forums, Directories etc.
The only optimization I have is using the same keywords and correlating links. when I update these, I cannot track how each link or keyword performs except for the only analytics I have on my host control panel. I cannot see what long keywords or keyphrases are attracting the most visitors or what the most clicked on links are on these other inbound markets. I use Google analytics, but that is good for my own site.
so I have resorted to a Inbound Marketing Software called Hubspot. They make all this simple for me. I can optimize each keyword, or keyphrase for my blogs and site, get true analytics, and even handle my leads all with their simple to use easy software. I have signed up for their affiliate program because I believe in their software. Give them a try for free!
Do you have a new website or a new product you would like to promote for free? I'm sure all of us would love targeted traffic to our products and services. Using Press Release sites you can generate targeted traffic resulting in repeat business, and some increased revenue with backlinks or recommendations using your social plugins.
Usually with most press release sites you have to login and create a new account. When submitting a press release make sure it is well written with important info on what your website, products or services is about. Keep it clean of a bunch of links and don't make the press release to long. You want to keep the reader engaged with useful relevant information that will drive them to your pages.
Here is a list of Press release sites that can drive a huge amount of targeted traffic to your site:
I use forums for some of my link building, some of these forums usually give my site on average now in the past month and a half about 60-100 visits a day from each forum. I post in forums that are relevant to my site, and I of course post in topics that I have knowledge in. For an example, if you Google "Drop Down Menu Generator Software" do the same for Yahoo and Bing you will see my site ranked at the top in the first 4 results of Google and in 1st on yahoo and Bing.
I get these results from these top Page ranked Forums that I Search for with those Keywords. I then Insert my link pointing back to the Drop Down Menu Generator page, Not only do I have a link that I inserted I also have a link back to my main page as my Signature link.
Use this correlating Linking method to create relevant backlinks that point to each page of your site. make sure you know what you are talking about and don't spam the forums or you will be banned and you will lose that high PageRank backlink.
Here is a list of some High PageRanking forums you can sign up to and create some great backlinks.
Learning from facebook, Google+ is using the tagging feature which can be turned on in the Settings Page. By default it is automatically disabled. Google+ is calling it "Find My Face".
Google+ has also added a auto suggestion feature as well which of course makes it easier to tag photo's. Google+ has disabled this feature by default to protect certain user's privacy, for example: You go on an interview for a job and the potential employer looks you up on the major social networks and see's a picture of you passed out with vulgar writing on your forehead.
Google+ will be using data from Picasa Web Albums for the Face Recognition suggestion feature.
Google is rolling out a new bar that directly links you to their services. you can see it over here at Site Pro News: Google Bar. A Googler found it on Google+ which we all know Google is heavily marketing. Google calls it the "Sand Bar" and you can get it in the Chrome app store called "Edit This Cookie" and change a few lines of code by copy and pasting. Anyways the complete video instructions are below.
