What is Correlated Linking?
Correlated Linking is when you have websites or Web pages, Forums, Blogs etc. that have the same subject, or topic linking to each other. What are the benefits of Correlated linking? Correlated Linking has a few benefits that can determine how well that particular page or site ranks in the major Search engines on the SERP'S. Correlated Linking gives Authority, Authority is determined by Page Rank as many links point to that site or page and it lets the search engines know that the pages that are linked has to do with the same topic, therefore it must be of some importance Page Rank can also be increased by Correlated Linking. When you have pages or sites that have authority linking to your site or page they can pass some of that Page Rank onto your page. Where are good places to place Correlating Links? First you want to start off by linking the pages within your site that has to do with the same subject. Make your links with the proper keywords, having the same keywords that are in the title or address of the page your are linking to is the best correlating links. Second I would create a few blogs or find some blogs on the same subject and create links back to your pages or site. Forums are another good source as well as Social Networks. Remember when creating your backlinks to not Spam the blogs or Forums, this will surely get you banned, usually when you create a profile it allows you to add a signature, input your link there. Bookmarking sites like Delicious and Google Bookmarks are good places and don't forget to make the bookmark's public so they can be indexed. You might want to think about answering a few questions on Yahoo answers and link back to what your referencing. This is the basics of Correlated linking, I'm sure there are many more ways to do it, as many Internet Marketers like myself are always finding new ways of link building. hope you enjoyed the Article.

I use forums for some of my link building, some of these forums usually give my site on average now in the past month and a half about 60-100 visits a day from each forum. I post in forums that are relevant to my site, and I of course post in topics that I have knowledge in. For an example, if you Google "Drop Down Menu Generator Software" do the same for Yahoo and Bing you will see my site ranked at the top in the first 4 results of Google and in 1st on yahoo and Bing.
I get these results from these top Page ranked Forums that I Search for with those Keywords. I then Insert my link pointing back to the Drop Down Menu Generator page, Not only do I have a link that I inserted I also have a link back to my main page as my Signature link. Use this correlating Linking method to create relevant backlinks that point to each page of your site. make sure you know what you are talking about and don't spam the forums or you will be banned and you will lose that high PageRank backlink. Here is a list of some High PageRanking forums you can sign up to and create some great backlinks. Well So far I'm on the first page of Google Serps for Drop Down Menu Generator Software, it looks like I'm in the 3rd and 4th position for this long keyword. What is interesting is my 4th position is from Google+ and that was posted on october 31which you can see here: Drop Down Menu Generator Software.
My social link marketing strategy seem's to be working out as I have other 1st page results like Dancing Hyperlinks and others.I use twitter daily, My blog, Facebook, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Del.icio.us, Google+, and a few High ranking forums as well as internal links on my site. I update my blog daily with new keyword links as I have a target of 2 to 4 keywords per page ( I use these keywords on the sites I listed above) I like to focus on for instance a variation of Drop Down Menu Software etc. To sum up my results my site is only around 3 months old, I think it is doing rather well, as My traffic is only averaging between 350-700 visitors on an average day, some days it does spike to around 1,000, but that is only if I have a good post! I set up separate link pages for Web Development Links. Visit each page and see what category your site falls under and use our Link Exchange Submission Form to submit your site for inclusion in our Link Exchange Program.
My site is little over 1 month old now and I used Google's Keyword Tool to find non competitive keywords for certain JavaScript codes and HTML. One of my pages is on How to create or make Dancing Links. Using analytic's I could see what keyword visitors were searching for to get to my site. Time to do some more optimization!
